Kangaroos in Australia

You will encounter these cute creatures frequently in Australia, you will absolutely not leave the country without having seen one. If you want to see these animals in the wild, you can choose to move away from the city. They do live well outside the city in large (empty) plains.

A tip is that the kangaroos are resting at daytime and they are active at dusk and at night. This is also the moment when you should stop driving. The chance to hit a kangaroo when driving at dusk and dark is very large. You will not only endanger to injure the kangaroo, but also your own means of transportation and of course your ego!

Therefore you should do only daytime driving in Australia. Put your car in a quiet spot in the open plain (where grass is, inland), and you will find lots of kangaroos. Also in the Australian National Parks you will find them living in the wild.
