Koala's in Australia

Koalas in Australia

These creatures, which are looking so very sweet, do have sharp claws. When you find one, do not try to lure, hunt or lift them from the tree. They attack you! Especially when a joey (baby koala) is nearby.

Koalas you'll find in a eucalyptus rich area. This is mainly in the state of Victoria and Queensland. In the Australian National Parks around Melbourne, Cairns and Brisbane are still a lot Koala’s in the wild. So find a rich environment of eucalyptus trees, then it is most likely that you will spot one!

Nevertheless, Koalas roar (during the night). When you hear the roar, do not be afraid that a bear or something else will attack you, it's just a koala in a tree. Well settled, but cannot hurt.
