Travel diary (Blog) about Australia

Travel diary/Blog

Traveling is great, but unfortunately there is nothing so deceptive as our own memory. Therefore, it is fun to document your travels stories through a diary. You have different types of travel diaries. This could just do with pen and paper in a designated book, or this can be online at various blog providers.

The advantage of scoring your travel memories with pen in a notebook, is that you are not dependent on a computer and the Internet. Also you can easily write down some key words. If you travel with a laptop, then you can also write down your travel memories, but then you are dependent on power for your laptop.

Another option is keeping a blog. This is only possible when there is a (stable) Internet connection. In this matter you can do immediately inform everyone (who wants to read) your adventures in Australia.

You can also choose a combination of these two. When you first briefly write down all points of the day / week / month, you can later (at ease) work this out (on your computer) online so everyone can read (follow) about your adventures. Also blog sites offer the opportunity to print out your stories in a nice bundled book. Then you immediately have your travel stories in a book!

Photography tips for Australia

1.For starters it’s important to bring an extra battery everywhere you take your camera.

2.It’s handy to own a camera that can take pictures and videos.

3.Make sure to have enough memory cards. If one runs out of storage you can easily swap it for a new one.

4.Save your pictures/videos. ALWAYS make a backup, you don’t want to lose all of the beautiful pictures/videos you took.

5.Put your pictures/videos online on a dropbox, Blog or in your mail. This way they won’t get lost so quickly.

6.You can also put your pictures on a cd/DVD. Send them home. When somebody at home has confirmed that it has arrived and in one piece it’s safe to delete the pictures off of your camera. (Maybe also a good idea to keep a backup cd/DVD just in case)

7.Put all your pictures on an external hard drive as a backup.
